Martha’s Vineyard

Just off the shores of Cape Cod, Massachusetts is a quiet island of full of sand beaches, quaint towns, and subtle beauty.  Martha’s Vineyard is not big in size but, it is huge in character and detail.  We will be spending the weekend here capturing a variety of scenes across the island.  We will make good use of sunrise and sunset from beaches and harbors around the island as well as capture details of island life in Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Menemsha, and other locations. Throughout the weekend we will work hard at discovering the smaller details to be found within a larger scene.  Martha’s Vineyard is a quiet jewel unlike any other part of New England that will challenge photographers of every skill set.

In this workshop we will cover:

Use of Lenses
Use of Light Modifiers
Subject Development
Creative Thinking
Shooting in Low Light
Long Exposures
Use of Filters (Polarizers and ND)
Includes two Image review sessions with all other ‘workshop time’ in the field
Image Processing examples illustrated during the review session/s
