2019-Saturday Morning In Boston

The workshop starts on Saturday April 27, 2019 at 6am and ends between 2 and 3pm and costs just $ 100 with two workshop leaders in the field: Bob Ring and Vin Guarino.

This is a fun and leisurely workshop experience where we’ll explore a few areas of Massachusetts’ capital city like the Waterfront, West End and the North End.  It’s a great opportunity to walk around  Boston on a Saturday morning where you’ll get to see the city wake up and swing into action (even on a Saturday!).  We’ll meet early in the am for some nice early light on the city skyline, Fan Pier and along the Fort Point Channel.  Walk around the city’s small streets capturing stories of Boston with your camera. We’ll have a lot of interesting and different subjects to photograph which will challenge your creativity helping to improve your photography skills. We’ll discuss and practice color, Black & White and street photography along the way.  Subject development is key for creating good photographs so we’ll focus on that important aspect of photography .

We recommend that folks bring all of their lenses with them that they feel comfortable to carry knowing that wide angle and normal lenses will be used primarily.  We’ll start off with tripods for the first couple of hours and then put them away to free up your creativity!  That’s right…no tripods!  During the workshop we’ll talk about subject isolation, composition, how to get sharp images and much more.

The workshop starts on Saturday April 27, 2019 at 6am and ends between 2 and 3pm and costs just $ 100 with two workshop leaders in the field. This workshop will be limited to just 10 attendees for more time with the two leaders.  Any questions please ask.
