NOT your ‘usual’ Lightroom class!  See below! First in a Two part series

Note: Location is Georgetown, MA

Instructors: Bob Ring and Vin Guarino (Mac/PC, IT expert)

This is a workshop designed for Beginner to Intermediate skill levels with Lightroom.  No pre-requisite required other than having Lightroom loaded on your computer as we’ll get you off and running with Lightroom!

We always encounter a lot of computer questions from folks during our Lightroom workshops.  We will include a 1-2 hour session on Computer Basics applicable for both Mac & Windows users to enable backing up all of your valuable photography images!  Includes the opportunity to ask those ‘computing’ questions you’ve always wanted to ask someone!

-We’ll start off with ‘What Is Lightroom’? It’s a concept that you need to grasp before jumping in to using Lightroom. We’ll also discuss image file types such as raw , dng and JPEG with reasons as to when to use what. We will be focused on the two most important modules of Lightroom: Library & Develop.  It’s an intensive day all about Lightroom!

The workshop will be a class room style ‘experience’ for the attendees.  A great opportunity to ask questions and get yourself going or to get further along with this great software for photographers. During the day we’ll have a session on backing up and saving your files (MAC or PC).  Also, included will be a hands-on session using supplied images.  If you have a laptop, or computer, it’s best to bring it with you.  We’ll import images and develop them.  Hands-on is the best way to learn!
