Outer Cape Cod: Cherié

I cropped just to take the backs of the chairs out for less distraction. My eye always wants to go towards bright vivid colors, so I really didn’t have to do much with the color.  I had fun playing with different angles etc.

I felt that I had to bring my exposure down some and I adjusted the saturation a little. I wanted the color to pop, but not too much.

I felt this image reminded me of the old days with the vintage looking bike and the shop, so I converted it to B & W. I was happy with the look.

I cropped this image a bit because there was a sidewalk and I felt it was distracting, I know the tire is at the bottom of the frame. Not sure if I should have cropped more or left the curb.

This is the shot I took while we were at the beach in the afternoon.  There were people on the beach, but off in the distance the sight of this boy and his excitement and apprehension about going into the water just brought back memories of my days on the beach as a kid.  At first glance I thought the fog would not work, but I like the effect.
